About the website
What is farkd.fun?
An independent Australian underground music community: gigs, tracks and threads. First Nations-owned and LGBTQ+ inclusive.
Who made it?
Made by Ash, M. Richards within Australian territory: Yuin land and Gamilaaroi mob. About and Acknowledgement of Country.
Do I need an account?
Public gigs, music and threads can be browsed without signing in. Posting, uploading and saving profile changes require an account.
How do I sign in?
Use your email and password, or request a magic link. Sign in.
Why isn’t my track live yet?
Audio must pass virus and complete audio checks, then an admin approves the track. Uploads remain paused if file checks are unavailable. Your upload status appears on the upload page.
What audio can I upload?
MP3, M4A, OGG, WAV or WebM, up to 200MB. Only upload music you have the rights to share.
How do gig times work?
Gig times are shown in the venue’s state timezone, including daylight saving where it applies.
How do lifetime plans work?
Premium is $4.20 AUD and Elite is $420 AUD, both one-off lifetime plans. Monero payments and optional tips require TXID submission and manual wallet-receipt review. Confirm the XMR amount before sending; there is no live exchange quote. Plans and payment address.
How does the owner claim admin access?
Register with the reserved owner mailbox, confirm the email, then complete password and code verification. A submitted email or badge does not grant authority. Owner onboarding.
Who can see comments on my profile, bio or music?
Comments start switched off. Enable each separately in your account, choose everyone or signed-in members, and choose whether approval is required. Switching comments off hides existing comments from visitors. These settings control comments, not the visibility of your profile or bio itself.
Who can moderate these comments?
The page owner can approve or hide comments with a recorded reason. Admins who complete password and code verification may review member-only, pending, removed and switched-off comments for safety. Their review access and decisions are recorded. Approval does not change your audience or reopen comments. Passwords, password hashes and verification codes are never displayed to page owners or admins.
Does the site use trackers?
No third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Your email is not shown on your public profile. Pronouns are optional.
